Triumph X-75 Hurricane - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The only thing I could find worth passing along that came from a Google search of "motorcycle AND hurricane".

The office is closed. Schools are closed. It's raining. What else is there to do?

Painter Trina Merry transforms bodies of athletes into human motorcycles

Trina Merry uses athletes because posing for five to six minutes at a time — over the 18 hours in takes to paint the bodies just right — is grueling work."

US regulators discuss reliability, safety of self-driving cars - TechSpot News

US regulators discuss reliability, safety of self-driving cars - TechSpot News:

I'm not sure what this portends for motorcyclists.
A good thing? Car drivers often "don't see" motorcyclists to the determinant of the motorcyclist.
A bad thing? How do we ensure motorcycles are recognized as vehicles?
I wonder if there's any data on this?

Income Down, York Revamp Affects Harley 3Q - Motorcycle USA

Income Down, York Revamp Affects Harley 3Q - Motorcycle USA:

I copied the link to a New York Times article back in early 2010 (the link is dead now) that claimed Harley had suffered its first loss in 16 years. I titled that one as the beginning of the apocalypse.

Interesting Motorcycle Facts

Interesting Motorcycle Facts:

"The Fonz (aka Henry Winkler) couldn't actually ride a motorcycle. Steve McQueen's motorcycle from the scene at the end of the movie "The Great Escape" (1963), was the same motorcycle that The Fonz rode on in "Happy Days" (1974). When he "rode" the motorcycle in the show, it was actually mounted on a piece of wood on wheels. For the action shots during the show, they would simply wheel the motorcycle to give the effect that he was riding it. The reason Henry Winkler wasn't able to ride the notorious Harley Davidson in the show was because of poor co-ordination which is a symptom from his dyslexia."

Biketoberfest Daytona Beach Florida:

Anybody going? I went once in October about 10 years ago. Much more sedate (in a good way) than the spring get together. Still lots of fun.

This motorcycle costs $210,000.
It's fundamentally based on the engine in my Multistrada. Think I can get half that price? Even a quarter?
